>We have a loan package software called CFI. Just recently I have been able to extract their data from their export module. I want to take this data and send the information via a dedicated line to OCS a service bureau where we have much of our work outsourced. OCS has a UNISYS mainframe. They need the data formatted to certain specifications that their program will understand. This is not the difficulty.

The platform is not necessarily the problem. What RDBMS is the software using? Is it available via ODBC? We have a mainframe here (available through TCP/IP connection), but we have apps in DB2 and Oracle, both of which are available via ODBC. All you have to is create a connection to the database instance. Then you can submit SQL through the connection.
