I think Whil wisely avoided to get into a "my word against his" situation, and brought the whole thing into the open where we can all read it. I figure they did meet first, but didn't talk much at that time.

As for hearing both sides, the thread is still here for anyone to read. And Ken's final word was as ambiguous as if written in Delphi (the original one).
