>Yes. You cannot close the FoxUser.Dbf. If it is in the directory you have to skip it in the array processing. However, I just remembered that I ran into the same problem back in '93 with Fox 2.6. The way that I solved the problem is to move the file close into the array loop. For some reason the ADIR function grabs a file handle. Never did figure out why. HTH jeff
