There are two different MCSD tracks, one for Visual Studio 6.0 (which is being retired next year) and one for .NET. The VFP exams count only towards the VS6 certification.
>I know the Fox certification exams are scheduled to retired, but I'm confused as to if they can be applied towards MCSD certification or not. On the Fox exam pages (
http://www.microsoft.com/traincert/exams/70-156.asp), it says they can be applied as a Core or Elective for MCSD. And the Distributed Fox exam can also be applied towards MCDBA as an elective, and the MCDBA page reflects that. Well, on the MCSD page, it doesn't mention that you can use the Fox exams at all.

>Any idea what's up? My guess is that they just never updated the Fox pages to show that they no longer apply towards MCSD, but I just wanted to make sure.
