You need to create a custom property of the form.

(see Class menu, new property) or you can do this at runtime using .AddProperty().

But this still begs the question of what happens when they click the button again and what you expect to happen <s>. Also, you need to set the property to NULL before your "owning form" disappears. Sorry, this is brief and not very explicit. You really do have to describe the behavior you want to happen so that you can get the *right* "simple solution" <s>.
