I can only give examples of ASP.NET using C# calling multiple threads of a .vfp. mtdll which I do all of the time from IIS. However, this is probably not what you're looking for. I'd also be surprised if Calvin Hsia of MS hasn't done this with C# in one of his Devcon sessions...
