>I know that there is a bug in VFP8 or previous versions for losing code in the methods. Has anyone been able to trace it down as to why? The reason I am asking is out of 4 developers working in VFP6/7/8 we have lost all the code out of forms like twice in the last 2 weeks. What is weird is we have not lost code in over a year. It must be a very rare bug. I am trying to figure out how it happens and was curious if anyone has seen any pattern. Maybe together we can figure out the pattern and get the VFP team to fix the bug.

I know when I lost the code because of my own error: in one method, I had TEXT without ENDTEXT. And of course Fox was treating the remaining methods as part of the same text, so any methods which were below that were "lost", i.e. invisible when you open up the editor. I hacked the vcx and added the ENDTEXT, and my methods returned.

Probably not your case, but doesn't hurt to check.
