Tony,
I didn't understand from their Web page that you can save report in some editable form. I can modify VFP native report effectively enough w/o FoxFire!, but I fail to save it ( besides dbf format). I don't mean frx but generatedresult itself.

Curently my app supports that my generating text file ( instead of using VFP report designer) with embedded codes ( for fonts, etc) ready for WordPerfect macro to produce WP document. I'm trying to use a different approach. Standart VFP :REPORT...ASCCII doesn't seem to work. The question is : does anybody use third-party tools for that ( Crystal, FoxFire, etc) or there exist some workarounds for standart VFP report designer ?

>>>Depending on what your users want to modify in the report, I'd suggest two approaches: one would be Crystal Reports; and the other would be simply sending the report information to an Excel spreadsheet where they can alter and change to their dear little heart's content.

>Alex,
> If you are looking for a way for users to make and modify their own reports or packaged reports, I would look at FoxFire!.. I am partial to this, since you are using the VFP report writer and also get the source code for FoxFire!, if you need to make mods to it..
