IOW, the toolbar I get doesn't have an exit button on it. This and your follow up information tells me that you've customized the code that the app wizard generated, probably extensively.

Yes, so I was attempting to find out.

Naturally.

My mistake.

>Yes this is true. But the problem with the app framework delivered with VFP is *not*, as other people have suggested here, that it is some kind of toy or written by somebody who doesn't deliver apps for a living <s>.

I don't think I implied anything of the sort, and if I did inadvertantly, I apologize. If others did, I trust you'll take up that point with them.

I wouldn't discourage anyone from taking a look at the application wizard or VFP framework as a learning tool. This is independent of my opinion of frameworks in general, or any particular framework.

>The very-decoupled nature of the framework means that it isn't really all that hard to figure out how it works.

Well, in this we'll have to agree to disagree. I think frameworks, any framework that is robust is at least somewhat difficult to grasp, especially if one is new too OOP or VFP. One that doesn't have an obvious getting started path (perhaps there is one I'm ignorant of) is additionally difficult.

I hope and trust you've pointed the KB article out to Jim, the original poster. It would seem to be a good resource for him. I'm happy to know of it, however, and will keep it in mind whenever I might try to help with a framework or wizard question.
