Tony,
What I need is some format in which users can edit with some editor like WordPerfect, etc. I'm concerned how well HTML layout will look if I'll use FF!. Also HTML is perfect for viewing, not editing.I know that some other beta tools are available to create report in HTML format.
TIA,
Alex.
>>Tony,
>>I didn't understand from their Web page that you can save report in some editable form. I can modify VFP native report effectively enough w/o FoxFire!, but I fail to save it ( besides dbf format). I don't mean frx but generatedresult itself.

Curently my app supports that my generating text file ( instead of using VFP report designer) with embedded codes ( for fonts, etc) ready for WordPerfect macro to produce WP document. I'm trying to use a different approach. Standart VFP :REPORT...ASCCII doesn't seem to work. The question is : does anybody use third-party tools for that ( Crystal, FoxFire, etc) or there exist some workarounds for standart VFP report designer ?

>>>Alex,
>>> If you are looking for a way for users to make and modify their own reports or packaged reports, I would look at FoxFire!.. I am partial to this, since you are using the VFP report writer and also get the source code for FoxFire!, if you need to make mods to it..
