Did you try to create this file in the directory both users have R/W access to?

>I have an VFP6 application running on W2K that creates a log file (error.log) while the application is running using the low-level file functions. When the program start it 'sends' the file to me and then deletes the file. It has worked fine for two years, now all of the sudden the application is crashing when it tries to delete the file if a different user is logged on to the machine the next time the application starts. I have boiled it down the access permissions on the log file when it is created. Is there a way to set the access permissions of the file when it is created?
