Hi Jeff

>I have been studying design patterns. I would like to use them in my software. The problem I have is that the examples in the several books I've read don't relate to what I am doing. It is difficult for me to choose a design pattern to do a particular task because I don't have a clear enough understanding of the implementation of the patterns. Is there a book out there or a web site that can help me see what design pattern to use in various situations?

In addition to what others have told you already, there is a whole chapter in "MegaFox:1002 Things You Wanted to Know About Extending Visual FoxPro" devoted to implementing Design Patterns in Visual FoxPro. I used it as the source for the session I gave at OzFox (and am giving in Germany next month) on this topic - but there is more in the book than in the session paper. Check out http://www.hentzenwerke.com/catalogpricelists/megafox.htm and see Chapter 15 for details.
