Apparently not: the checkbox, similar to the one for PRG code, is gray. I think you have to accept the fact that VFP works this way: as soon as you close a method window (with changes), VFP will compile code, to put the compiled version into another memo field. (The legible code goes into one memo field, the compiled version into another one.)
Why do you need to do this, anyway? I find it very convenient to get information about the errors immediately, as soon as they are found.
