I used it for a while last year, built an app with it, and - yes, there's the learning curve. You pretty much have to forget a few things and learn to do them the new way, and this new way is better. Comparing the thoroughness (number of things it does for you) with the speed, it's both going lengths to do a lot for you, and still stays fast.

I've had to do a lot of subclassing to make desktop forms work (i.e. when _screen.visible=.f.), but that didn't really take too long. It's more a place where they didn't have too many requests, so it wasn't a priority to fix.
