Thank you for your suggestion.
I received a reply from Jim Saunders indicating that it was an issue with
SET STATUS. His suggestion to SET STATUS OFF and SET STATUS BAR ON removed
the problem, along with the handy Status Bar. He indicated it was a VFP problem
and has submitted it to MS.
HOWEVER,
At your suggestion, I attempted to find and delete the Foxuser files. Much to my
surprise, there is NO Foxuser.dbf in my VFP8 directory. Under WHAT circumstances
would VFP NOT be creating a Foxuser file? Is something going on that I'm not
aware of?
