Is this there a way to transfer data in a prg from a VFP DBC to an ACCESS MDB?

I can go ACCESS to VFP easily but cannot seem to get the opposite to work.
Thus far I have tried a OLE Automation (I can get ACCESS started but cannot open the MDB) and looked at ODBC (I can connect to the MDB but can't figure out -- if possible -- to move the data).

Environment:

VFP 6 Sp5 (upgrading to 7 or 8 not possible)
Access 2000
WINDOWS NT
