This may not have anything to do with Sergey’s problems but then again it might.

Some time ago we had a discussion how to prevent users from selecting a different browser font size. Some people really got mad at this thought but the reality is you have to do this to ”write within the object” and allowing the user to see all the text. Combo boxes are worse than text boxes.

Just a thought from an experience with I.E. If you use Large or Small system fonts, the actual size of a given font is different. There is a small difference of perhaps 10% that I measured. Example: You set the Web page for a fixed font using a small system font. Fill a text box with text. It works fine. Switch to large system fonts and the font is slightly larger and the same text is not visible within the same text box.

This can be a pain. Perhaps it is what is being experienced?
