Hi,
On help is write :
". Transactions are supported only for tables in a database. "
Remote View support VFP Transactions ( are virtual tables in a database but with CREATEOFFLINE(ViewName [, cPath] they are true tables).
The positive point is this:
SPT cursors, are not within a DBC, and support transaction !
Question: It is by design or no ?
If it is by design, why VFP cannot support Transactions on local Cursors ?
This seems useless because a cursor is exclusive;
but is much profit in order to manage complex ( multicursors ) but partial modifications to cancel during one session of editing.
