Erwin,
There is no trick. It won't work successfully for very long.
We had over 2000 Win95 machines at the beginning of the year when we wanted to deploy using VFP 8. We did some testing and intially we got good results. Unfortuantely, after the application had been running for several minutes, the problems started to appear.
The worst was the main menu did not operate. The menu displayed initially but as you selected options from it, the options started to disappear. VFP did not redraw the pads or submenus. After a few minutes, all that was left was the pads across the top of the screen. If those options ran anything that worked. If they opened another menu, it didn't work.
While I sympathize, I can understand MS's point of view. Windows 95 has been unsupported since 2001. I can't make a case for a new development environment to support an unsupported OS.
