How can I tell which column or bound field in a datagrid the user is currently sorting on in vb.net?

I have a grid with multiple columns. a text above the grid will be used to search the
grid on the current sort column. Sounds good but I can't find a way to determine the current sort column.

Any sugestions would be greatly apreciated.
