Thanks for the reply. I spent a couple hours searching the web for some tools to implement some biometic functions in my application (logging in primarily), but while I found 1 that looked like a possible, they didn't have a trail version. I'm a small shop and hate to spend 600-900 dollars on something I'm not sure will work in VFP (they had delphi and vb sample if you bought their SDK). While I filled out a contact sheet on their website, I haven't heard back. Also, I'm looking for something that is not tied to a specific piece of hardware. I kinda of got the impression that most the sites I found were selling their hardware. I'm not sure if there is a standard out there or not.

If you have any sugguestions, I would love to hear them.
