>>>While attempting to instantiate an olepublic class based on a visual class (form or commandbutton) from a dll or exe I am able to access the classes methods and properties but I can't see a visual representation of the class. This is so when instantiating the class with CreateObject either in VFP or Visual Basic. Is this the difference between VFP5's ability to create Ole servers but it's inability to create OCXs? Is there a way to instantiate the olepublic class in the dll or exe and see a visual representation of it, that is see it if it is based upon a form class?

Hi Rick,

I'm going to be putting together a small section of a website in the near future that will be 2-3 simple pages designed to collect data i.e. name, email, comments, etc. I would prefer the back end for collecting the data be a VFP table. Would an Automation Server be a good interface between the HTML page and the VFP table? Is so, could you give me a simple HTML example of adding a capture value to the VFP table? TIA
