Thanks for responding. Yes I created a business object (a subclass of abizobj which is created in the Framework) and I open the local view from that object. I have dropped that business object on my form (on that page that I have my grdList) and then did a Send To Back so the business object instantiates first. The thing is that when I Suspend my app after I get the "Invalid ControlSource in Cgridtextbox1" error I can open up the View window and see my local view activated. I Select it and browse and see my data so it looks like the business object is activating the view and opening it up. It just doesn't appear in Grid.
