From Mike's message:

My splitter should work with anything that can be placed into a Container. It certainly was the intention to support ActiveX controls, but I don't recall ever having tested such cases. Some ActiveX controls are tricky to deal with, requiring gimmicks like putting them into separate forms to avoid flaky behaviors. Aside from those kinds of problems in general, they should work with SplitCon. The main page is http://www.ideaxchg.com/ix07/sc/_sys/toccontu.htm.

There is one gotcha with grids: their height could not be set less to their HeaderHeight. Keep this in mind.
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
