The information David provided in his answer is found in the MM .NET Developer's Guide under the topic "Data Binding Windows Forms DataGrids". These instructions show how to bind a DataGrid to the default DataView or a custom DataView.

I'm not sure which property you eventually found was set incorrectly, but the biggest mistake I've seen developer's make is not setting the MappingName property...and as David pointed out, you do need to watch case!
