The other way around is a little simpler. If the child form has to have a reference to the parent form, you can just pass ThisForm as a parameter to the child form, and, in the child form's Init(), assign it to a property.
Once you have this, it should be relatively easy to call methods on the parent form, again, passing ThisForm as a parameter.
