Pauline,

The older versions of Crystal always compared VFP logical fields to value of either 0 or 1. I remember writing formula fields that would fail if I didn't use that comparison. I don't remember if it was version 8.5 or 9, but one of these later versions of Crystal internally changed its boolean comparison to work as you would expect (i.e. not comparing to 0 or 1). This, of course, meant that all those older formula fields I had written had to be changed back to not contain the 0/1 comparison.
