Are you able to create and read .al3 files? As I mentioned, I wrote my own utility to read .al3 files in VFP since those available out there were cost prohibitive. I will email it to you. I had a lot of help on the UT from Sergey, Cetin, Terry Thurber, and many more in accomplishing it. Read the al3main.prg header to see the contributions. I have a sample .al3 file also in case you don't have one yet to get you started. If someone were able to host it, I would put it out there as a UT download for anyone else to use. Besides, then perhaps it could get improved by anyone willing to give it a shot.

>>A while ago I was searching for information on reading in Acord AL3 files. These are used in the insurance industry. I was unable to locate any tool already in place that was not cost prohibitive. I have since created my own tool that uncompresses the Acord file and reads it into tables and displays all transactions, groups, and coverages in a treeview (thanks to a few fellow UTers' help!) If anyone in the insurance industry has need of such a tool, let me know and I will gladly share it.

>Tracy, I'm just getting started in this so any input would be helpful. I have not recieved the packet of info from Acord yet - but it is on the way. Getting a jump on it would be great.
