I need a little advice or ideas on how to do something if it is even possible. I just got a call from a potential client that has an application that he is going to sell with the source code. However it will be licensed by the year. He wants the abilty to have the source code not run after the expiration if they do not renew. They need to source code to be able to make certain modifications. What kind of modifications they may make I do not know as of yet. I have not seen the application so I do not know how it has been designed. I basically would like to get some general ideas on how something like this could work as well as what types of questions I should ask .
