I come from a FoxPro / VB background (about eight years in each). I find the syntax in VB.net to be more familiar to booth of those languages. I’ve also had to use some c# examples and with a little more effort can interrupt it.

If you have Java / C developer C# will probably be easiest for them to work with. VB developers will probably prefer VB.Net. Show some of your developers each and see what they say.
