I have been using vb.net, but am considering going to c# because it would be easier to understand the third party tools source code, all of which are written in c#.

From a functionality standpoint, I don't think there's any difference, though I'm not crazy about c# being case sensitive. It's very convenient to type everything in lowercase in the vb ide and have the ide convert as I go.

Just a few more thoughts to consider.
