>IMHO those are two very strong pros and cons to C# for me. I despise nothing like I despise case sensitivity (well, semicolons at the end of lines as in Delphi bug me too), but I would really like to be able to delve into any tools written in C#. I've just noticed myself that there are many more examples (or else that is all I am finding) in C# out there than in VB.net which makes self-improvement or even self-teaching in the language much easier...

Sorry, I don't really see the Cons of case-sensitivity or semi-colons. It is like using a capital at the being of a sentence, or using a period at the end of a line. Using semi-colons, make generating of C# much easier then VB code, and it just seems more tidy.
I don't know, even when i have to code in VB.NET at times, I still make sure to use the same case, I don't know what anyone would want two variables named MyButton, and myButton and have the compiler not through an error.
I think by being more strict, the compiler requires developers to be somewhat more careful, so I would argue case-sensitivity is a pro, as opposed to a con, that same w/ semi-colons.
