Peter,

The C and C++ ISO standards are different. What I was trying to say was that compilers supporting the C++ ISO can be as compatible and cross compiled as C. However, even with C the chances of you being able to create 100% cross-compiled code without say an x86 or Windows API abstraction layer is slim and if you look at any of the big open source projects the compiler differences are abstracted using the pre-processor and abstraction layers.

Regards
Neil
