I had the same problem on a simple form that displayed some information calculated on init method, with no recursion. That form contains this types of objects:
foxhwnd
labels
container
shapes

This form is an object created on the fly and have an only one button visible, to close it.
If my XP is in "XP-LookLike-Mode" when this form appear and i pass over that button with the mouse-pointer (without click on it) all objects dissappers.

This form wass a "In TopLevel form" with desktop = .f., to solve the problem i had set DeskTop = .t.

I tried to reproduce the problem in simpler manner ... but there was no way!
There is a problem ... but is hide.
bye, Emanuele!
In the beginning the Universe was created.
This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.
