I'm more interested in Linux. Is the Microsoft dotnet platform available for Linux? I also noticed that most Unix OS/s, including Solaris, are missing. I wonder if Microsoft's dotnet platform is available for these as well.

It would certainly be welcome to see Microsoft devote more time, energy and money towards making Windows easier to interoperate between all major OS/s, right across the board.

Anyway, knowing that Microsoft will make dotnet platform available for FreeBSD and Mac OS X is encouraging
