As a workaround (since I cannot change what exist in our SQL Table without affecting other programs), I went and changed this line in the SQL view of the designer

SELECT Equipment.Manufact, Equipment.Model, Equipment."Easy Model", Equipment.Cost, Equipment.List, Equipment.Changed, Equipment.Descrip, Equipment.VendID, Equipment.ID, Equipment.EffectiveDate FROM dbo.Equipment Equipment

to

SELECT *;
FROM ;
dbo.Equipment Equipment

and it works fine.
