I have often wondered if there is an HR handbook out there consisting of required "stupid and lame phrases that must appear in job ads". Some are beauts.

Here's my favorite of these, from a San Fernando Valley, CA job posting about six months ago:

"The company is converting from Visual FoxPro to a Microsoft platform."

Needless to say, when the hysterical laughter stopped, I didn't apply...
