I suppose it could all work together. When the app compiles there would be a lot of linking into the libraries. I don't think the assembly would compile into the app under C. Certain libraries might compile into the app as opposed to linking in. I'm not sure how it all happen, I just know C get in there somehow and does what it's designed to do. Code should come out pretty much optimized and as compact in size as possible.
