711406 and it hit an error saying that it couldn't find the WMI class on W98. Then I installed the files from your suggested path and tried to run the example again. It returns nothing this time. Do you have any idea about what might have gone wrong?
Joey,
When you say "it returns nothing", what does that mean? Can you get a reference to the motherboard instance at all? Are you able to create an instance of the SWbemLocater? Where does the code fail?
