Yeah, HTML is a Markup and you can't do any programming in it. It is markup only. Now, It MAY, just MAY be possible to have a set of LOCAL html files, that run javascript, that you run from your file system via Internet Explorer and may be able to connect to a Local database. But WHY would ANYONE want to do that?

WebServers, like Apache are FREE, just download it and get it. I really don't understand what you want to do, with the application at all. If the Database is Local, then just Open up Fox and view it that way.

I think you may be way off track with the way you are approaching this.
