We use NAV here, and are forced to disable auto-scan each time we open the project. I have disabled the network and local drive, and it's still slow. Set them back to auto-scan after testing.

Since your using NAV, be sure to disable checking of .DBF, .FPT, .CDX files to help keep from getting table corruption. Before I set that, VFP 8 would corrupt the FoxUser.DBF once a day. Something to do with using the ! on the toolbar and seeing DO "(path)\foxuser.dbf" followed by an error.
