That appears to work well with one parent and one child, but I can't get it to work with multiple childern when I'm trying to keep the child records grouped togther. Maybe there is a way to do it with multiple detail bands and selectively suppressing output, but I can't seem to figure it out. There is just too many repeating columns to deal with you have multiple child tables in one big joined table.

I know it can be done with unioning parent and child tables, but I will try the other option of using subreports. I haven't tried subreports yet, but sounds like a good idea.
