When does the parent's Save() method get executed? It seems to me that that is happening when I close the main form?

Also, what do you mean by "The view should have its PK value set from NewID() during the BizObj.New()"?

At this point, is does not matter because I'm not getting that far. Once I updated the BizObj to Automatically Generate Primary Keys, I get an error 2088? (this error is not in the VFP docs on MSDN or TechNet- so I'm not sure what it is). However, in debug mode, I notice that the cUniqueIDfield is set to "cursorsource=lv_vehiclemakes"??? That's a weird setting, isn't it?

The BizObj's data environment is set right.

Obviously, I can't step through the BizObj.OnNew() method until I get past the 2088 error problem.

It seems that this gets more confusing the deeper I get into it. Is there any light there at the end of the tunnel?
