>I know that $ can never be revealed to the public, but is it possible in anyway to determine (in a roundabout way) the number of developers using VB.net versus c#.net? I know that this is fluid of course and may not reflect the same number even a couple of months from now. I also know at one time that it was rumoured that there were an unbelievable number of vb programmers (before .net) worldwide and there certainly were a large number of vb examples available on the web (still are). I would be curious simply from the standpoint of community support and code examples on the web, etc...

The data is not public information, but there are more VB .NET developers than C# developers and we expect that to continue. Many companies I talk to are using both, usually C# for creating reusable compontents (non-UI like class libraries) and VB .NET for building applications.
