I have an application using the MS Oracle Data Provider that shows a large number, between 3000 and 4000, of open cursors. Most are implicit cursors from INSERTs, UPDATEs, and DELETEs. Is there an issue with the data provider that would be causing this?

I am also using connection pooling. I have run the ADO.Net patch for the data provider that manages the connection pooling, but could this be the problem?

Any ideas will be appreciated
