VB never had a real OOP model util VB.NET (arguably a different product). VFP had it since its first version (3.0).

For me VFP has ever being a better tool than VB. I can't consider boycotting VFP 9 just because it doesn't have a feature I like.

Of course, if you think VFP is not worth upgrading, it's your decision.
