>Again, one would think that if a problem with the FoxPro marketing is that FoxPro is considered to be out of style while other tools get the attention, surely the Microsoft employee who claims to be the FoxPro Marketing Guy would find it desirable to take simple steps like adding their affiliation with the product they are marketing to their signature on public postings!

Mike,

Please ease off on Ken. He has done a lot for our product, and will probably do it again in the future, but he does have a job to do and our ranting doesn't make it any easier for him.

When the time comes (in 3 years), someone will figure out a way to interconnect VFP with Longhorn and we'll encapsulate the method in a class. Or, who knows, maybe all the features we love about VFP will someday exist in .NET so it will be a moot point. In the meantime Linux is not standing still. We'll still have options.

Alex
