With the recent PDC starting a very long thread with the VFP guys I thought it might time to remind them that there is always Linux. Since they are going to lose (maybe) VFP in the near future maybe it's time for them to take a look at what Linux has to offer. After all, if they have to move to a new langauge anyway they might want to consider getting something that's cross platform - like Java or Python. But I figured it might be rubbing salt into a fresh cut.
LongHorn is schedule for 2006 so here are some guesses:

Java SDK 2.1
Python 3.1
Wxwindows the GUI API of choice for all Linux langauges.
What a bright future we have - I wonder if the VFP only people feel that way?
