I don't think I've posted a message here promoting VS .NET in over 6 months, they are mostly VFP related unless I'm responding to something specific off-topic in an existing thread.

Well Ken, lets not get carried away here. The predominate message from MS has been how to incorporate VFP with .NET - namely via ASP. Whether you look at the message or the enhancements - they focus squarely on how to use Fox in the context of .NET. FWIW, I agree entirely with MS's focus here. I'm just calling it what it is...
Piece of advice - stop trying to justify your actions. Just do it and move on. Regardless of what you do - there will be somebody to complain about it.
