I had a similar problem last year...Had to prototype a remote view using VFP as the back-end database when, in reality, it was a Access/Jet database that was the production data source. Prototyping the ODBC connection with Fox worked great, but some quirks had to be dealt with when I switched the connection to Access/Jet. For example, a blank date field in the Jet table would be interpreted as {10/31/1899} (if I remember correctly).
